The King of Clay has done it again. Rafael Nadal just earned his 14th French Open title by beating Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0. The 36-year-old Nadal is also now the oldest player ever to win a men's singles title in this event. Andres Gimeno held the previous record at 34 years old.

Here's the winning moment at Roland Garros:

Nadal is two-for-two in Grand Slams this year after also winning the Australian Open. He has a record 22 Grand Slam victories in his career, two more than rivals Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.

The fifth-seeded Nadal beat the top-seeded Djokovic on his way to this latest French Open crown. After beating Djokovic in four sets in the quarters, Nadal reached the final after Alexander Zverev was forced to retire due to an injury in the semis. Nadal had won the first set over Zverev but was locked in a close battle in the second set before the injury.

Nadal has been dealing with an injury of his own, making his accomplishments this year even more impressive. The tennis legend keeps admitting just how much his foot injury is bothering him, but he keeps gutting through it and keeps winning major events.

The next Grand Slam is Wimbledon, which begins later in June. Djokovic has won the event three times in a row.
