Alliance Dota 2 roster reveal happened just now, with Alliance revealing their brand new Dota 2 lineup ahead of the DPC 2021-2022 season start.
Alliance announced their new Dota 2 team through a short animated video announcement on Youtube. Revealing each player in animated art styles, Alliance showcased their new roster for DPC 2021-2022:
- Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov
- Ondřej “Supream^” Štarha (formerly Chicken Fighters)
- Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos (from Quincy Crew)
- Adam “Aramis” Moroz (from Vikin.gg)
- Simon “Handsken” Haag
The three new additions to the team comprise of young up-and-comers, with Lelis being the only one who has any TI experience. Nikobaby and Handsken are expected to lead the others with their veteran experience.
Meanwhile, Alliance also announced the official return of Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg to competitive Dota 2 play. However, AdmiralBulldog will only be playing as a substitute player for Alliance.
Alliance performed really well during DPC 2020-2021, albeit falling short when they arrived in The International. This re-specing of their roster will probably lead to them having a slow start this season, but should Nikobaby's and Handsken's leadership help unlock the younger players' potentials, then we could expect the team to once again rise to the top of the European regional leagues this season.
