Mediatonic issued a Fall Guys refund for accidental in-game store purchases, as Mediatonic tries to fix the bug that causes the issue.

Fall Guys players have recently encountered an unfortunate mishap within the in-game store. Mediatonic is aware of the situation and is working on a fix that will roll out as soon as possible.

Fall Guys recently had a bug wherein the store would purchase an item without the input of players. Naturally, this outraged all the players that were affected by this annoying bug. Luckily, these players caught the attention of Mediatonic, causing the developers to start sending out refunds to those affected.

Mediatonic addressed the issue on Fall Guys’ official Twitter page stating that they’re working on a fix. Specifically, the devs are working on a redesign of the in-game store to prevent these accidental purchases from happening in the future. On top of the Fall Guys refund, all players were also given the Grandis skin as a form of apology and compensation. This cosmetic is basically a variation of the hilarious Long Guy skin released earlier this year. The only difference is that players can recolor Grandis according to their preference. As for the refunds, all refund requests from June 21st will be honored until the store is finally fixed.

It’s good to know that Mediatonic is taking immediate action on these issues. Of course, we’re really expecting this from the devs especially now that Fall Guys is back on the map after becoming free-to-play and launched on the Switch and Xbox. Aside from this ongoing issue, there really isn’t anything bad to say about Fall Guys second coming. Hopefully, Mediatonic can keep the ball rolling this time around for their adorable jelly bean elimination game.
