After a fairly short recruitment phase, Hotta Studio and Perfect World Games have finalized and selected various testers for Tower of Fantasy, a shared-world online RPG that's set to take on the PC and mobile game platform in 2022. While the game has been available in China for quite some time, many English users have been waiting with anticipation to see what this game can bring to the table, especially when compared to its main competition, Genshin Impact.

In a post made over on the official Tower of Fantasy website, they have proudly announced that closed beta testing has begun, along with the release of a CBT FAQ page that gives players details on any issues they might have while playing the game. For any users that have concerns regarding posting and sharing content from the closed beta test: Tower of Fantasy's closed beta test is not under any strict NDA, so players will be able to post YouTube content or stream the game on Twitch.

As many players have already had a chance to play and express their opinions on the global closed beta, many have pointed out that the game's overall quality remains unchanged from the China version of the game. The English voice dubbing for the game is also largely unfinished, as the website also suggested switching the voice option to Japanese for the duration of the test.

Lastly, as with most closed beta tests, all progress made during the testing phase will be wiped, so players will have to start over as soon as the official release arrives.

Tower of Fantasy global closed beta test will run from April 18th, 2022, to May 19th, 2022. For more information on the game, check out our Tower of Fantasy article on “Top 5 features that set it apart from Genshin Impact” as well as our take on the closed beta test in the coming days.
