Genshin Impact v2.1 will see the release of the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun Baal. While miHoYo has confirmed her arrival, they didn't give us any official information on her kit and battle statistics. This gave leakers an opportunity to reveal new information about Baal, which also gives us an opportunity to report on them.

Perhaps the most exciting leak to come out from the beta is the one showing off how Baal will be animated in-game. The video above shows her idle animations, movement, attacks, elemental skills, and elemental burst. Her polearm attacks and her elemental burst attack with her special tachi.

After getting her official reveal on miHoYo's own social media channels, leakers started showing off the data they have. We now know about what weapon Baal will have, as well as what her talents and stats will look like. Baal will be a 5-star Electro Polearm-user, very different from the expected Sword-user by fans. But it turns out that Baal's Sword-wielding form can still be played by players when they unleash her Elemental Burst: Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu. Like Tartaglia, this will change Baal's weapon temporarily – making her wield her signature katana. This form is called Musou Isshin, which lasts for a currently unknown duration.

While this sounds like an awesome skill, this doesn't make Baal an entire powerhouse. Her form after the Elemental Burst deals massive damage and turns her into a Main DPS for the duration of the skill. However, as a polearm-user, she serves a support role as an Elemental Battery instead. Would Genshin Impact fans dig this? We'll find out soon enough.

Baal's material requirements for her ascension have also been leaked. However, this doesn't mean that you can farm her materials ahead of her release. Some of the materials you'll need to max her out require beating La Signora, a leaked but yet released boss fight. Hence, we'll still have to wait out before we can start building for Genshin Impact‘s Electro Archon.
