It’s always delightful to see roguelike events appear in Genshin Impact, and we have another one coming in version 2.3. This one is a returning event, called Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light. Like the one that came before it, players can explore this labyrinthian dungeon made of unpredictable rooms and dangerous hallways. Each room may contain a Benediction trial, which provides a significant buff after clearing the room, or an Ancient Rune, which players would need to activate three of them to proceed to the final challenge.
This dungeon is no pushover, however, and its hallways are riddled with traps and sentries, only waiting to be activated once the player approaches its vicinity. Certain sentries can only be deactivated with the correct elemental reaction, so some thought has to be put when building a party for this dungeon. There is a time limit in this dungeon, the bosses in the final challenge are formidable on their own.
Beginners fear not. In Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light, players are free to use certain trial characters even if they haven’t wished for them yet. Based on the version 2.3 special program livestream, even Raiden Shogun is available, so if you didn’t manage to pull for her, this event is perfect for trying her out in a real challenging situation. Other trial characters shown include Tartaglia, Xingqiu, and Kujou Sara.
Participating in this event rewards players with Mora, enhancement materials, and Primogems, so make sure that you won’t miss out!
