Video: Giants legend Eli Manning’s perfect roast of Tom Brady during MNF telecast

Eli Manning, Giants, Tom Brady, Patriots

Eli Manning and Peyton Manning have been a hoot on their special Monday Night Football broadcasts, and this past game between the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks featured a number of great moments. In addition to Seahawks legend Marshawn Lynch dropping an F-bomb on live television and Peyton apologizing for it later, Eli got in an incredible roast of Tom Brady during his guest spot, making a reference to the New York Giants beating the New England Patriots twice in the Super Bowl.

Savage stuff from Eli:

Eli’s tenure with the Giants was a bit of a roller-coaster ride, but he became a legend for defeating Brady’s Patriots two times in the Super Bowl. That includes New York spoiling New England’s perfect 2007 season. While the Giants’ ferocious defense deserves the lion’s share of the credit for those Super Bowl wins, Eli did come up with some big plays to win those titles.

Eli is never going to let Brady live that down, hence this cold jab on Monday Night Football. Of course, Brady has done okay for himself, winning seven Super Bowls in his own right and establishing himself as a GOAT candidate.
