New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning received a few standing ovations during his teams win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and after the game he was emotional talking about it.

Most believe Sunday was Manning's last home game as a member of the Giants and after the game he said it was a special way to go out.

“Obviously, I don't know what the future is. I don't know what lies next week, let alone down the road,” Manning said via Jordan Raanan of ESPN. “Obviously, the support and the fans, their ovation, chanting my name from the first snap to the end, I appreciate that. I appreciate them always and all my teammates coming up to me. It's a special day, a special win and one I'll remember.”

Manning threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns which was good. He also struggled again with interception giving the ball away three times, but the Giants still found a way to come away with a win.

After the game when Manning was running to the locker room he was greeted by his three girls. Manning said it was special that his girls will hopefully remember their dad playing football, something he doesn't remember with his dad Archie Manning.

“It's special. I think it's special that my kids get to come and watch some games,” Manning said. “I don't remember my dad playing at all. He retired when I was 4 years old. My brothers have memories. They always kind of talked about it, in the locker room, around games, and I don't remember. So I try to bring my kids around as much as possible, bring them to some games. I know my youngest son won't remember any of it, but we'll at least have a picture to show him one day.”

The win also moved Manning back to a .500 winning percentage. It's unclear if Daniel Jones will be ready when the Giants play the Washington Redskins on Sunday, but if he's not it will be Manning getting another start.
