Celebrity relationships are often tricky. They seem liable to end at just about any time. It seems Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey is no exception. News recently broke that Ramsey had ended things with his pregnant girlfriend Breanna Tate. Ms. Tate is coincidentally the sister of New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate. Golden Tate obviously took issue with Ramsey, and expressed his frustrations to the New York Post.
“I’m not happy at all with the disrespect that he’s shown towards my sister, and the things he’s done in the past, but I don’t really want to go too much into it,” Tate said.
This is pretty clearly a very uncomfortable situation. Unfortunately, we went get to see Tate exact his revenge against Ramsey on the field, as the Rams and Giants don't face each other in 2019.
But this issue is clearly bigger than football, and we wish Ms. Tate and her child all the best.
Now, moving on to more football-related matters. Ramsey was just the centerpiece in a blockbuster trade between the Rams and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ramsey was quickly thrust into action against Atlanta Falcon Julio Jones, one of the best receivers in the NFL. The former Florida State Seminole was serviceable against Jones, only allowing 93 yards through the air. He also forced a fumble early in the contest.
On the other hand, Tate has been less than great for the Giants. He's only played in three games because of a PED suspension, and the results have been middling. He has 195 yards and one score.
