Kadarius Toney was absolutely balling out for the New York Giants on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. After 10 catches and 189 yards, the rookie's afternoon came to an abrupt end after a skirmish that resulted with him throwing a punch at a Dallas player.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the star rookie for the Giants is expected to face a fine but not a suspension.

It's great news for the Giants on a couple of fronts. One, the explosive rookie likely won't miss any games and two, it comes at a time when the injuries are piling up for New York.

Daniel Jones left the game for the Giants with what appeared to be a concussion and Kenny Golladay and Saquon Barkley left with injuries as well. On top of that, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton were already out against the Cowboys entering Week 5. The injuries continue to pile up for New York so news that Toney won't be facing a suspension has to be a sigh of relief for Joe Judge.

Toney has since apologized.

The Giants lost the game 44-20 and weren't the same following the exits to Jones and Barkley. Mike Glennon did come in and throw for 196 yards and a touchdown but he also had two interceptions.

New York is now 1-4 on the season and they will welcome in the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 as they look to pull of the upset over LA.
