The New York Giants are now in full-on rebuild mode with All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. currently a member of the Cleveland Browns. The Giants are still sticking with veteran quarterback Eli Manning; however, that has now seemingly led to quite the rumor from NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

According to Rapoport, there is a possibility that the Giants could acquire current Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

“Let's assume it's even a possibility,” writes Rapoport. “If this was going to happen, it would take multiple, multiple, first-round picks for the Giants to pry Russell Wilson away from the Seahawks. And by the way, the Giants actually have those. You'd think it would probably take both this year, and at least next year's one.”

With such a rumor making its way all the way to Wilson, the Seahawks franchise quarterback recently responded to the possibility of becoming the Giants next starter under center.

“I'm not sure the Seahawks are going to let me get away,” Wilson said on Friday during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I love Seattle. Seattle is a special place, been able to win a Super Bowl there, go to two Super Bowls, multiple playoff games and everything else.”

Because of Wilson's success as a member of the Seahawks, it is currently a little hard to believe that Seattle would simply give him up to another NFC franchise. Though he isn't getting any younger, Wilson continues to prove that he is as talented as ever.
