The very popular #Stayward campaign, designed by super fan Garrett Jones in efforts to convince Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward to stay with the team, given that he's expected to opt out of his deal and seek a max deal with the team.

What started as a hopeful $5,000 GoFundMe campaign turned into a major success, as Jones gathered enough contributions to fund a sizable billboard to display.

“Fans bring so much energy to the sport, and Utah fans are some of the most determined,” Jones said in a release. “After the success of our GoFundMe, I knew I had the manpower behind me to make an impact. I decided to use the funds we earned expand our reach in Utah.”

Jones has now partnered with advertisement agency Relic after reaching out to president and CEO Adam Stoker, a longtime Jazz fan who jumped at the chance to contribute to the cause.

“Keeping Hayward with the Jazz is not only important for the general community, but for the business community as well,” Stoker said. “The Jazz bring so much value to businesses who surround themselves with the team and with the arena.”

The 27-year-old forward is bound for a massive raise this offseason and the Jazz would be smart to give it to him, as he has posted career-highs across the board.

The Butler standout put up 21.9 points on 47.1 percent from the floor, 39.8 percent from three, and 84.4 percent from the line, along with 5.4 rebounds through 73 games this season — posting undoubtedly the best numbers of his seven-year NBA career.

In addition to the eight billboards designed by Relic, which will be displayed across the Interstate 15 Highway in Utah — Jones has expanded the #Stayward campaign to social media, under Utah Jazz 6th Man, which will detail the success of this particular venture.
