The Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors played an exciting Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal Sunday afternoon. It was a physical game that came down to the end, with the Warriors escaping with a 117-116 win. With a little over a minute remaining in the first half, Warriors forward Draymond Green was whistled for a foul on Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke. Upon review, the referees deemed it a Flagrant 2 foul, ejecting Green from the game.

After the game, the Grizzlies forward talked about the foul and Green himself.

Grizzlies beat reporter Damichael Cole captured Clarke's thoughts on Draymond's past.

“It's not shocking that he did that. It's something he's done in the past… he did hit me pretty hard twice.” He stopped just short of calling Green a dirty player.

Following the ruling of a Flagrant 2, Green went over to the Warriors bench to high five his teammates. He then strolled around the court a bit, likely getting under the skin of fans in Memphis.

Despite his ejection, the Warriors once again showed why they are so dangerous in the playoffs. In the game's biggest moments down the stretch, Golden State made big play after big play. Klay Thompson hit a huge three to give the Warriors the lead. Then Stephen Curry had a massive block on Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant with under 20 seconds remaining.

With Memphis now trailing the best-of-seven series 1-0, the pressure will be on the Grizzlies to even up the series. Falling behind 2-0 having to go to Golden State likely will not end well for Memphis.

Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night.
