On Saturday, Ja Morant led the Memphis Grizzlies to a huge win over the Chicago Bulls behind a career-high 46-point performance. Apparently, Morant was just getting started.

The Grizzlies star did himself better on Monday with a mind-blowing 52-point performance in another win, this time against the San Antonio Spurs, 118-105. Ja scored a whole lot of buckets in this one but there's no denying that his most emphatic points came on a ruthless poster on Spurs big man Jakob Poeltl (h/t Def Pen Hoops on Twitter):

Damn.

Ja Morant had a clear path to the basket on a fastbreak play. Well, technically, he blew by two defenders to get the deuce. He left Spurs rookie Joshua Primo in the dust before meeting Poeltl at the rim. The Spurs big man did his best to try and stop Morant from dunking all over him, which unfortunately for Poeltl, only made his poster even more ruthless.

Morant's 52 points were not only a career-high mark for him. It also happens to be the first time in Grizzlies franchise history that a player scored over 50 points:

For those that still have doubts about Ja Morant then I don't really know what else you want to see from the kid. After this recent run, you can be sure that the MVP buzz is going to get louder for Ja.
