Safe to say Memphis Grizzlies guards Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks heard the latest Andre Iguodala trade rumor.

Iguodala is prepared to sit out the rest of this season if the Grizzlies don’t trade him to one of the agreed-upon teams he designated by Thursday’s trade deadline.

After the Grizzlies defeated the Detroit Pistons on Monday, Brooks told reporters he can't wait for Memphis to trade the former Finals MVP so he can face him and show him what Memphis basketball is all about.

Morant saw Brook's quote on Twitter and agreed with it:

Before the season started, no one picked the Grizzlies to make the playoffs in the rugged Western Conference.

The Grizzlies have been a great story this season. Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. have been special all season, and the future looks extremely bright in Memphis with head coach Taylor Jenkins and his staff leading the way.

Morant will probably win NBA Rookie of the Year this season. He came into Monday's game versus Detroit averaging 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 43 games while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 38.9 percent from beyond the arc and 77.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Ja put up 12 points, four rebounds and seven assists against the Pistons. The Grizzlies won by a final score of 96-82 to improve to 25-25 on the season.
