Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have to win on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks to force a play-in game. If they lose, they would have to place their fate in the hands of others.

Despite the reality they are facing though, Morant is not letting the pressure eat him.

According to the 2019-20 Rookie of the Year front runner, he will treat the game like any other game. While he knows the importance of a victory against the Bucks, he is also aware that the Grizzlies cannot allow themselves to be pressured.

“One game left. Attack that game as any other game,” Ja Morant said. “Don't put any pressure on ourselves and go out and try to do what we do every game, try to get a win.”

If the Grizzlies lose on Thursday, they'll have to hope that both the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs lose as well. Memphis, who seemingly had the eighth seed locked entering the bubble, have struggled thus far.

However, as head coach Taylor Jenkins noted, the task waiting for them is simple: find a way to win despite their struggles.

“It's simple: I told the guys we've got one game left, we've got to find a way to play our best game up to this point,” the Grizzlies coach said, per Royce Young of ESPN. “We've got to lay it on the line. Whatever's been in the past is in the past.”

“What motivates us is that 1-6 record, that's not good enough for us. We've got a chance against the best team in the league on Thursday and whatever we can throw at 'em, we've got to throw it all on the line and see what happens after that.”

It is for certain that Thursday will be a night filled with exciting and nail-biting games. Fans better not miss it, too!
