Atlanta Hawks superstar point guard Trae Young missed Games 4 and 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks with a bone bruise in his right foot, but there's some optimism that he'll be able to give it a go in Saturday's must-win Game 6 back in Atlanta.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst discussed Young's status on Friday's edition of Get Up:
"There is hope that, because he is improving from what I'm told, that [Trae Young] will be able to make it a go in Game 6."@WindhorstESPN with the latest on Trae Young and Giannis. pic.twitter.com/Ck89AZHpIk

The Hawks shockingly dominated the Bucks without Young in Game 4 to tie up the series at 2-2. But back in Milwaukee for Game 5, the Young-less Hawks got off to a brutal start and were never able to totally recover, falling 123-112 to put them on the brink of elimination. Game 5 occurred with Giannis Antetokounmpo on the sidelines as well, but the Bucks got big performances from a number of players, including Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Bobby Portis.
While the Hawks were able to win Game 4 easily with Young sidelined, it's hard to see them winning two more games with him out, even if Giannis isn't able to return to the court. Milwaukee has been up and down in these playoffs, but the roster still boasts plenty of talent. Plus, winning at Fiserv Forum twice in one series is a tall order, with or without Young.
Atlanta and the home fans would get a huge boost with Young's return. Let's hope he's able to suit up.
