Luke Babbitt has agreed to a one-year, $1.9 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according to a report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Babbitt played last season with the Miami Heat, posting averages of 4.8 points on 41.4 percent three-point shooting in 15.7 minutes per night.

The Hawks will be the fourth team in Babbitt's NBA career. He played his first three with the Blazers and then next three with the Pelicans before signing on with the Heat last year.

He's been a spot role player everywhere he's been, lethal from beyond the arc as a career 40.6 three-point shooter he's an ideal player to help stretch and space the floor.

And what better place to do that than in Atlanta where his style should fit in seamlessly while he should also be able to help a now dilapidated roster after this summer's departures of Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard.
