Atlanta Hawks rookie point guard Trae Young put on a show on Monday against Chris Paul, James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

The 20-year-old scored a career-high 36 points and also dished out eight assists. It was a performance the youngster will remember for a long time since he did it against one of the best point guards in NBA history in CP3.

After the game, Paul had a lot of good things to say about Young, telling reporters the fifth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft is very skilled for his age.

“He’s fun to watch because he’s so skilled,” Paul told Chris Kirschner of The Athletic. “I think that’s what people may miss when watching him. His handles, man. He can come off a ball screen and he can stop and whip it to the other side of the court with his left hand.

“It ain’t maybe four or five guys in the entire NBA that can do that and he does it efficiently. He’s only going to get better and better.”
