Trae Young’s 3-word mantra after Hawks’ incredible comeback win vs. Sixers

Hawks, Trae Young, Sixers

Trae Young just had an incredible playoff moment after leading the Atlanta Hawks to a comeback win over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4 of their series. Sure enough, the 22-year-old sharpshooter was hyped after the crucial victory.

On Twitter, Young shared the Hawks’ mentality in three simple words: “Just Keep Fighting.”

Indeed, Trae Young and the Hawks showed just that on Monday as they tied the series at 2-2. Down by 13 at the end of the first half and as much as 18 points at one point earlier, Atlanta simply didn’t give up and crawled their way back into the game.

Young, who actually went 3-of-12 in the first half of the contest for eight points, overcame the shoulder issue that was bothering him and exploded in the second half. He finished with 25 points and a game-high 18 assists, leading the Hawks to a huge 31-20 third-quarter the turned the tide in their favor.

Bogdan Bogdanovic came up huge for Atlanta as well, as he finished with 22 points on 9-of-24 shooting. Meanwhile, Clint Capela and John Collins muscled their way in the painted area and dominated the boards even with the threat of Joel Embiid, combining for 25 boards to give the team a massive advantage.

Interestingly, the Hawks also remain undefeated in their MLK jerseys!

Young and the Hawks showed mental resilience to come from behind for the W, and it should bode well in their mission to upset the Sixers. If anything, the win should give them the confidence and belief they can take down the top seeds in the East.
