Atlanta Hawks wing Justin Anderson is one of those guys who is very hard to figure out. He is athletic, tough and seems to have talent, but for some reason, he can't stick with any one team.

Well, on Wednesday night, he made his case to the Hawks as to why they should consider making him a long-term part of their roster, as he stuffed Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo on a dunk attempt:

That was nasty.

On the year, Anderson is averaging 4.0 points over 7.6 minutes per game.

Anderson, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Virginia, was originally selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round (21st pick overall) of the 2015 NBA Draft.

He played in 55 games during his rookie campaign, registering 3.8 points and 2.4 boards across 11.8 minutes a night while shooting 40.6 percent from the floor, 26.5 percent from 3-point range and 80 percent from the free-throw line.

The following year, the Mavs traded Anderson to the Philadelphia 76ers midway through the year. In 75 contests between the two teams, he recorded 7.1 points and 3.3 rebounds through 16.4 minutes per game, making 42.4 percent of his field goal attempts, 29.9 percent of his long-distance tries and 79.1 percent of his foul shots.

He then spent the entire 2017-18 campaign with the 76ers, playing only sparingly. He was then traded to Atlanta as part of a three-team deal this past summer.

The rebuilding Hawks came into Wednesday night's action with a record of 9-23, although they have been playing much better of late, having won three straight games going into the matchup with the Pacers.
