Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has openly admitted that he tries to pattern his game to Steve Nash's rather than Stephen Curry's, whom he got major comparisons to prior to entering the NBA.

Now, Young gets his chance to hang out with his idol in Nash, as the two point guards were invited to watch the Champions League finale in Madrid.

As seen in the video below posted by Trae's dad, Ray Young, on Twitter, the Rookie of the Year Finalist is already taking advantage of his time with Nash by picking the brain of the Hall of Famer.

Nash was also on record saying that he sees Young as one of those players who could be in the same mold as he is.

Young rose to fame because of his impressive range from long-distance a la Steph Curry. An underrated part of his game, however, is his passing.

Of course, Young has a long way from attaining the success that Nash had in his Hall of Fame career.  He is just 20 and is just a few months off from an impressive rookie campaign.

The no. 5 overall pick in the 2018 draft had a strong second half of the season. Many had penciled in Dallas Mavericks all-around guard Luka Doncic as the Rookie of the Year, but Young's impressive late season push made the race more interesting.

Young averaged 19.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 8.1 assists in 81 games with the Hawks in his debut campaign. He came out of the gates slow, but he really started to find his stride as the season went along. He averaged 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 9.2 assists while shooting 44 percent from the field in his final 23 games of the season.
