Trae Young, the star point guard of the Atlanta Hawks, has made nutmegging opposing defenders one of his signature moves.

His most recent victim is star center Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets. Young fooled Jokic in the first quarter of their teams’ game on Monday night:

Young moves with a fluidity and swiftness that is hard to counter for opposing defenders. Which is why he has been getting double-teamed with regularity – sometimes even under his own basket.

While Jokic is not known for his fleetness of foot, Young still makes him look silly on this play. It direclty led to an Alex Len and-1 layup.

The first returns for fan All-Star voting came in, and Young was number one in the Eastern Conference among all guards.

Perhaps it's due supremely entertaining plays like this one.
