Miami Heat All-Star big man Bam Adebayo was in considerable pain late in Game 4 against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night after appearing to injure his left wrist.

While there has been some fear about his status for the rest of the series, Dwyane Wade has provided his own medical update about Adebayo and how he would be able to recover in time for Game 5 on Friday.

Wade took to Twitter to provide his diagnosis on Adebayo:

Clearly, Dwyane Wade is not too worried about Bam Adebayo's injury. To be fair to Wade, Adebayo himself said after the game that he's “fine.”

While there is nothing set in stone yet, we'd have to say that it would take a severe injury to hold out the Heat star for a crucial Game 5 matchup on Friday.

Adebayo was outstanding yet again for the Heat in Game 4, finishing with 20 points on a very efficient 7-of-11 from the field. He also logged 12 boards, four assists and two steals to round out another all-around performance.

The Heat are now one win away from booking their place in the NBA Finals. Should they defeat the Celtics in the series, it will be the first time Miami reaches the Finals in six years. The last time they went all the way was in 2014, and at that time, none other than Wade himself was at the helm for the team. He did have LeBron James (and Chris Bosh) playing alongside him in what was the golden era of South Beach basketaball.
