The Miami Heat lost Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, 124-114, which now puts them in a 2-0 hole. For Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra, however, all hope is not gone.

The three-time NBA champion coach is so steadfast in his belief in his team's capability that he came out with an NSFW response when asked about his team's chances at this point:

Now if that's not an outstanding rally cry for a team that was just dominated by a powerhouse Lakers team, then I no longer know what is. Spoelstra was understandably not in a jovial mood following the loss, and his statement here serves testament to this fact. There's no denying that it remains to be a pretty awesome message regardless.

Not only are the Heat down 2-0 in the series, but the fact that the Lakers dominated them in both games just goes to show how much of an underdog Miami is in this series. To make matters worse, they are in danger of being without two of their best guys in the team in Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic the rest of the way.

Adebayo is currently recovering from a shoulder strain, and while he was tagged as doubtful for Game 2, he was ultimately unable to suit up for his team. On the other hand, Dragic was diagnosed with a torn plantar fascia, and looks to be done for the season.

The Heat are at a clear disadvantage. However, as coach Spoelstra said, they simply could not care less about the odds being stacked against them.
