News about Dwyane Wade being possibly bought out by the Chicago Bulls has made a lot of headlines recently, and even made some players voice out their opinion about it on their social media accounts. Some of them even started recruiting him to join their teams, and Hassan Whiteside was one of them, making it known that he approves of the 12-time All-Star once again playing for the Miami Heat.

The 7-foot center made his preference of having Wade as his teammate once again clearer when he was asked about it during a fundraiser for his foundation by Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel. He said it will be great for the South Beach team to have him in again, and expounded on what he can contribute for them.

“It'd be great,” Whiteside said at a fundraiser for his Whiteside Foundation. “It's a three-time NBA champion coming back, coming in and really helping a team out. It would be great.”

“He's a great basketball-IQ guy. He can find you on a lob. He can find you on a pick-and-roll situation. He's a great scorer.”

Wade spent his first 13 seasons with the Heat before deciding to play for his hometown team last summer. Despite still adjusting on his new team, he still had a solid campaign for the Bulls this past season with averages of 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Although there are also some teams expected to show interest in his services, the Heat definitely have an advantage in signing him as he has a deep understanding of what the franchise is and has lived in Miami for a number of years. For now it’s still anyone’s guess where he’ll end up next, but at least he knows Whiteside and South Beach will embrace his return, making it easier for him to choose the Heat.
