As news broke out that Dwyane Wade is expected to reach a buyout with the Chicago Bulls in the next couple of months, a lot of speculations already emerged on where he’ll end up playing next season. Many are starting to believe that he might be reunited with the Miami Heat, as he spent the first 13 years of his stellar career with the South Beach team. One of the team’s players certainly likes the idea of playing with his former teammate again, and he made it known recently that he approves of it.

Upon hearing the development, Hassan Whiteside replied to a tweet posted by Bleacher Report, and used a hilarious GIF to let his followers on the social media platform know that he is very much intrigued with having Wade part of the Heat once again.

The two played together for two years from 2014 to 2016, and formed a great partnership on the court. Whiteside became the recipient of many great passes from the 12-time All-Star guard, and he learned a lot from him about being a professional. However, it ended last summer when Wade surprised many when he decided to bolt out of Miami and play for his hometown team last summer.

With Jimmy Butler shipped to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Rajon Rondo now with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Bulls are in the process of rebuilding and appears to prefer bringing in more young talented player  to be part of their future plans. Wade has made it clear in the past that he does not want to be part of a rebuilding franchise, which could be the primary reason why he’ll agree to a buyout. Despite being 35-years-old now, he’s still one of the best shooting guards today, and could generate a lot of interest from teams around the league once he becomes available. His reunion with the Heat is far from being a certainty, but Whiteside may have wanted to send a message to him that he is welcome to re-join the team, and would definitely be a big boost, not just to their squad, but to the whole city of Miami, should it happen.
