Miami Heat All-star Jimmy Butler spoke to reporters after his team's acquisition of Andre Iguodala. He spoke highly of the veteran, saying he's “super smart” and that “there's nothing he cannot do.”

Additionally, Butler noted that everyone's “winning level is going up” under the three-time NBA champion's influence.

He’s super smart. There’s nothing he cannot do. When I get to learn from him, when everyone gets to learn from him, that winning level, that meter, is going up in everyone’s mind.

Iguodala was previously traded in July to Memphis after spending six years at Golden State. He was part of the Warriors' infamous dynasty, providing key defense and bolstering the team's rotation. However, since the trade, there have been questions about his ability to contribute at his age. Despite this, the 36-year-old averaging 9.8 points in last season's playoffs, all while playing a whopping 30 minutes per game.

After his Finals stint against the Warriors last season, however, he had not suited up for a single game. The veteran's refusal to play for the Memphis did not go unnoticed by the team's young players. Rookie of the Year contender Ja Morant notably took offense but has since shut down the controversy after the reported trade.

In exchange for the swingman, the Heat sent small forward Justise Winslow to the Grizzlies. Winslow was drafted back in 2015 and has played for the Heat since then. The 23-year-old has averaged 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists in the 11 games he's played this season.

Iguodala will be joining Heat All-stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, and continue to surprise as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
