The Miami Heat have dug themselves a deep hole following Friday night's Game 2 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers. Miami star Jimmy Butler spoke about being down 2-0 in the series, and according to the All-Star swingman, the Heat cannot be counted out at this point.

Miami has fallen behind in the playoffs in the past, and for Butler, they have already proven that they are more than capable of coming back:

“We're going to fight and we're going to ride with this thing until the wheels fall off. It's not over. We're just down 0-2, so we got to do something special. We're capable of it and I wouldn't want to be in the trenches with any other guys except for the ones that we have,” said Butler, via Yahoo News.

Then again, it is worth noting that they're facing a powerhouse Lakers side in the NBA Finals. The dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis dominated yet again on Friday, combining for 65 out of L.A.'s 124 points. They both pretty much had their way with the Heat, and for their part, Miami will need to find an answer for both men if they hope to stand a chance in what has been a lopsided series thus far.

As Jimmy Butler implied, however, if there's any team in the league that can do it, then it's the Heat. They have been underdogs from the get-go, and have successfully proved their doubters wrong at every turn. They need to do it one last time in the Finals. It may be a gargantuan task, but it would be foolish to count them out at this pint.
