Tyler Herro was in attendance at NBA 2K's House of Greatness event in Las Vegas. Herro got the opportunity to play the new game while hanging out with fellow players, celebrities, and basketball influencers. Herro discussed a number of different topics with the media. He doubled down on wanting to start for the Miami Heat in the 2022-2023 NBA season, and commented on his relationship with Pat Riley. However, Herro also reacted to his rating in NBA 2K23.

“By the end of the season… hopefully like an 88, 90, somewhere around there,” Tyler Herro said in response to his 2K rating goal for the end of the season. “I'm not too sure, I think Ronnie (2K) said it was like an 84 to start so we will see what happens.”

The game won't be released until September. So getting to play it in July was quite the treat. I can't reveal too much, but I will say it looks terrific.

Ronnie 2K sent his message to NBA 2K23 players ahead of the game's release at the event.

“This is the best one yet,” he said. “You don't put Jordan on the cover unless it's the best one. It's going to be a good one.”

As for Tyler Herro, he will aim to continue improving as a player. He is already one of the most marketable names in the NBA. And he is fresh off of a 6th Man of the Year award. But Herro wants to start in the 2022-223 NBA season. The Heat star could easily surpass his 2K ratings goal if he continues trending in the right direction.
