Bam Adebayo's clutch block in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals will go down as one of the best swats in Miami Heat history. Right beside it is a similar play by none other than LeBron James during his stint in South Beach.

The same is true for James' swat on Tiago Splitter. To recall, it occurred in Game 2 of 2013 NBA Finals between Miami and the San Antonio Spurs.
Though the Heat were up by a huge margin, James thrilled the crowd by showcasing his defensive tenacity. What made the block impressive was the fact that Splitter is a big man who stands almost 7-feet tall. James showed off his perfect timing and brute strength in the play.
Bam Adebayo, who has been having a breakout year, was named into the All-Defensive Second Team this year. So for Heat fans, it's not a surprise that Bam came up with a big defensive play in the showdown. Besides, the the franchise wouldn't have this amount of success without that type of determination on the defensive end.
Although Miami entered the postseason as the the fifth seed in the East, they have been going toe-to-toe with those ranked above them. They destroyed the Milwaukee Bucks in five games, and now came up clutch in Game 1 against the Celtics.
