When Ray Allen left the Boston Celtics for the Miami Heat prior to the 2013 NBA season it undoubtedly left a bad taste in the mouth of his former teammates. However, there was no way anyone could have predicted that it would turn into a nearly decade long grudge between the former 2008 NBA champions.

Fortunately, the Celtics' former “Big Three” has since reconciled and agreed to let bygones be bygones. Allen and Paul Pierce confirmed that notion by taking part in the Super Penguin Celebrity Game in China, courtesy of Fox Sports Asia:

The Celtics started an NBA revolution when they formed the first modern-day “Big Three” that composed of Pierce, Allen, and Kevin Garnett. However, after several failed attempts to win another championship, Allen signed with Miami during the 2012 offseason.

Boston's veteran three were outmatched by Miami's newly-formed juggernaut, and Allen was the final piece of the puzzle. His championship with the Heat was the final straw before he was essentially ostracized by his former teammates.

After all these years, it seems Allen and his old crew are back on good terms. As evidenced by the video, he and Pierce are seen engaging in some friendly trash-talk during their one-on-one matchups. Now, if someone could just let Rajon Rondo know that would be great.
