Jamal Crawford is still a free agent and Kemba Walker finds this baffling. The Charlotte Hornets point guard knows a thing or two about scoring and Walker told Brandon ‘Scoop B' Robinson of Scoop B Radio:

“I have no idea why he’s a free-agent, man. Everybody loves J.C. He’s a great dude first of all and basketball-wise, I mean, everybody knows what he does. He’ll bring it every night. He can score with the best of ’em.”

This is high praise coming from one of the best one-on-one players in the league. It shows how widely respected Crawford is throughout the league. Of course, Crawford is not the same player he was a few years ago, but he still provides a scoring threat off the bench.

The three-time Sixth Man of the Year can't go back to playing 30-plus minutes a night off the bench, but he can be a nice rotational piece on a second-unit. Despite his scoring last season dropping to 10.3 points per game, his per 36 minutes numbers were still on par with recent years. He's not the type of player who can put a team on his back, but he's definitely a rotational player that can fit the right team.

There's speculation that Crawford could wind up with a contender like the Sixers. Either way, fans definitely want to see Crawford play at least one more year in the league. The 37-year-old is approaching the twilight of his career. That being said, there still seems to be a desire to continue playing the game.
