Charlotte Hornets rookie power forward Miles Bridges says he didn't get snubbed from the All-Rookie team this season.

Bridges took to Twitter and said he thinks he played like ass all season for the Hornets, who missed the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

The Hornets drafted Bridges with the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Michigan State University. He played in 80 games and averaged 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 32.5 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Bridges had a few highlight dunks this season, but that's about it. The Hornets won just 39 games. Charlotte is hoping Bridges can develop an outside game this summer so he can be more versatile next season. With star point guard Kemba Walker hitting free agency, the Hornets might need Bridges to be a scorer in 2019-20 if Walker leaves.

Bridges' best game of the season came in April against the Orlando Magic. The high-flyer scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while shooting 8-of-13 from the floor in 41 minutes of action. The Hornets lost that game, but it was good to see Bridges play well and showcase his versatility. Charlotte is going to need more performances like that from Bridges next season.
