Today's EA Sports College Football 25 cover reveal is not only a big day for fans of the series, but also for players like Travis Hunter, Quinn Ewers, and Donovan Edwards. All three players graced both the Standard and Deluxe Edition covers of the game. While the Deluxe Edition features other players, this trio takes center stage as EA ushers a new era of College Football in gaming. Without further ado, let's hear what they had to say.

All three cover athletes of EA Sports College Football 25 had nothing but great things to say about the special opportunity.

“EA SPORTS games are legendary and to see myself on the cover of College Football 25 is truly surreal,” said Michigan RB Donovan Edwards. “It’s a huge honor to join past Michigan greats as a cover athlete on an EA SPORTS college football game and keep the tradition going.”

Edwards and Blake Corum paired together created a dynamic duo in Michigan's backfield. Together, the two players recorded 100 rushing yards each in the school's National Championship victory against Washington. With Corum now in the NFL, Edwards now takes the RB1 role and will show why he deserved a cover spot in the first place.

Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers was also honored for the opportunity. “To represent the burnt orange on the real and virtual gridirons is such an honor. EA SPORTS games were the first place I lived out my childhood dream of playing for the Longhorns, so it’s a full-circle moment to now be on the cover of College Football 25,” said Quinn Ewers.

Ewers enjoyed a successful 2023 campaign, earning a 10-2 record while completing 69% of his passes. Ewers does not feel pressured with a Manning on the bench just waiting for a chance to start. Instead, he proved deserves the starting QB role in 2024. We shall see if he improves after a strong season.

Lastly, Colorado Buffaloes CB/WR Travis Hunter was excited for the opportunity to grace the cover.

“I couldn’t be more pumped to be part of College Football 25 and represent my Buffaloes on the cover of a game with so much excitement behind it. I can’t wait to play and see myself, my teammates and my school in the game,” said Hunter.

Despite Colorado's struggles and Hunter's injuries, he enjoyed a successful 2023 season. Not only that, but he contributed immensely to the team's growing popularity. Say what you want about Colorado, but players like Hunter undeniably increased the popularity of the school and football program. We shall see if he and the team make a big lead in 2024, and perhaps silence some doubters.

To grace the cover of an EA Sports video game is already an incredible experience. These players now become a part of sports video game history. Furthermore, it's also a testament to who you are as a player. Ewers and Hunter both displayed incredible ball-skills last year. Meanwhile, Edwards will get a chance to really show off in 2024.

Overall, we look forward to seeing them virtually, alongside all other players from all 134 FBS Schools. Additionally, take a gander at the Madden 25 Release Date, revealed today alongside the College Football 25 launch.
