Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder wasn't particularly happy to hear the home crowd cheer for Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward during warmups prior to Tuesday's 115-104 win over the visiting Western Conference team.

After the game, the 26-year-old small forward responded to a local fan's ultimatum in a pretty bold way in a now-deleted tweet.

He was savvy enough to retweet a suggestion to “come back home to the Mavs” and replied (in yet another deleted tweet) to a Celtics' fan account, saying he's bound to be appreciate in places other than Boston.

“I didn't like that at all. I think that was a sign of disrespect to me from the fans. That sparked a little fire in me,” Crowder told reporters according to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

The 6-foot-6 wing was incredibly efficient in his 35 minutes on the floor, scoring 21 points in 6-of-8 shooting, including a blazing-hot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.

Hayward, who led the Jazz in scoring with 23 points, had been rumored to be a target by the Celtics this past offseason, something Crowder had taken exception to as they play the same position.
