In the last couple of days, there has been much attention drawn toward New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's right-hand injury that he suffered in practice earlier this week.

However, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson isn't one of those who believes that Brady is dealing with a bothersome injury at all, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

“I remember [Bill running back] LeSean McCoy said he had a high ankle sprain and came out there cutting and stuff,” Jaguars defensive lineman Malik Jacksonsaid on Thursday’s PFT Live, in reference to McCoy’s status before the wild-card game between Buffalo and Jacksonville. So Jackson said he’ll assume that Brady will be the same old Brady.

Brady had reportedly suffered the injury on Tuesday after he collided with one of his teammates during practice. He was able to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday but did not participate on Thursday and was seen wearing a glove over the injury. Brady also had to undergo an x-ray on his hand, putting into question how serious his injury is.

Although there are clear signs that Brady is dealing with some sort of ailment, Jackson isn't taking any chances with the 40-year-old limiting himself in any fashion on Sunday. Tom Brady is still one of the game's best quarterbacks in the league, and is coming off a strong outing in the divisional round against the Tennessee Titans where he threw for 337 yards with three touchdown passes.

The Jaguars could pose to be a significant challenge to Brady given that they possess arguably the best defenses that finished the season ranked first both overall and against the pass. The AFC Championship game may very well be decided on how Jacksonville holds up defensively on the road. This only adds to what should be an intriguing contest on Sunday afternoon.
