James Harden and Isaiah Thomas have quite a few similarities. They are both guards who have been named All-Stars, of the same age (27-years-old), and are lefties.

Before their team's matchup on Monday night, the Houston Rockets‘ shooting guard talked about his fellow southpaw and gave him a “weird” compliment.

“Lefties are just weird — weirdos. People aren’t used to guarding left-handers, they’re very crafty. Zeke is crafty, gets into the paint, uses his body well. He’s always in attack mode.”

Harden also gave his thoughts on the Boston Celtics‘ point guard's style of play and why he's been excelling at it.

“Attack mode, man, he’s in attack mode. He’s so aggressive he can shoot the ball at a high level. He’s just looking more comfortable. Any player who’s comfortable on the court is going to feel more comfortable.”

Like the 6-foot-5 Arizona State product, Thomas has been playing incredible basketball this season as well with averages of 26.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game and is on his way to being considered for a second-straight All-Star selection.

Should they both lead their teams to greater heights, one thing that's certain is they'll be proud of one another as they represent the minority of lefties in the league today.
