2020 has been a crazy thus far but if there's one thing this year has taught us, it's that anything is possible even in the NBA. The rumor mill has churned out a ton of interesting scenarios as of late but one of the more explosive bit of news coming out is the possibility of 2018 MVP James Harden ending things with the Houston Rockets to form a big three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving with the Brookelyn Nets.

If that insane scenario somehow falls into place, then it is indeed over for the rest of the league per New Orleans Pelicans Josh Hart. The 25-year old shooter took to Twitter to suggest that we we should all simply hand the Larry O'Brien trophy to the Nets if Harden moves to New York.

“I was already over 2020 but if James goes to Brooklyn then I'll see ya'll 2022 cause they got 2021.” Hart posted (via Bleacher Report).

Let's face it, Harden joining forces with Brooklyn's dynamic duo would be peak 2020 and Hart suggesting that we should all just wrap it up for the upcoming season makes a whole lot of sense, as silly as it sounds.

The Rockets leader is coming off his third consecutive league scoring title after finishing his eight season in Houston with an average of 34.1 points per contest. In the past three seasons, no one has come close to the 31-year old in terms of buckets and pairing him with a four-time scoring champ in Durant is just absolutely unthinkable. Add in another potent scorer like Irving into the conversation then that's easily an average of 80 points per game between these three.

This move will undoubtedly be the biggest moves in recent NBA history.
