Wojnarowski reports that Mitchell's MRI on his left hamstring was negative. The star guard is still dealing with bruising in both of his quads.
Despite the injuries to both of his legs, there is “optimism” that Mitchell suits up for Game 6 of the team's NBA Playoff matchup vs. the Mavs.
Article Continues BelowWith Game 6 scheduled for Thursday night, Mitchell will have a couple of days to rest up and get his body right for a game that figures to be a closely contested one, considering the Jazz will be facing elimination on their home court. The Jazz star will continue to get treatment in the days leading up to the contest.
While he hasn't been his most efficient self, Mitchell still has three 30-point games in the series. His presence would mean everything for the Jazz as they try to stave off the Mavs.
