Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles says his coronavirus test experience was “horrible.”

Ingles and the rest of his Jazz teammates had to take the coronavirus test in OKC after Utah center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus:

“It’s horrible,” Ingles said of the test, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “It’s 10 seconds…with a swab up your nose that literally goes so far up your nose that it feels like it’s about to pop out the top of your head. It’s one of the most uncomfortable feelings I’ve ever felt in my life. …Every guy when they finished was like teary-eyed, because it’s that feeling. And then they back it up with a swab down your throat as well.”

Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were the only two players on the Jazz to test positive. The NBA suspended the season right after Gobert's test results were leaked.

The Jazz left OKC without Gobert and Mitchell obviously. Mitchell is asymptomatic, while Gobert recently said he's lost his sense of smell because of the virus.

The Jazz were in fourth place in the Western Conference standings prior to play being suspended. They had a record of 41-23.

Ingles is averaging 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the Jazz. The lefty is shooting 44.1 percent from the field, 39.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.4 percent from the free-throw line.
