The rekindled “beef” between Shaquille O'Neal and Utah Jazz Rudy Gobert appears to be coming to an end. The Hall of Fame big man recently guested on a Bleacher Report interview with Taylor Rooks and the discussion started with a special message from Gobert to Shaq.

Rooks read Gobert's message to O'Neal which opened with the Jazz center making it abundantly clear that he has no beef with Shaq. He then went on to explain his mentality when he said that he would lock down prime Shaq on defense if he were handed the opportunity.

O'Neal appears to have appreciated Gobert's message and he too responded with his own praise towards the Jazz star:

“You know what Rudy, let me tell you something — I respect that. I do,” Shaq said. “A lot of times when I throw jabs, people think its hate or whatever. But really, I'm just challenging them.”

This isn't the first time Shaq has called out an NBA player as a way to “challenge” them. This also isn't the first time he's traded barbs with the Jazz big man, but in the end, it's apparently just his way of sending out some constructive criticism. Clearly, nobody does it like Shaq.
