The Utah Jazz are now conducting a full investigation regarding the verbal altercation between a fan and Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Russell Westbrook.
Per Tony Jones of The Athletic, Jazz officials are looking into the matter seriously. Once the investigation is resolved, Utah is expected whether to hand out sanction to the fan or call the attention of Westbrook regarding the incident.

Below is the tail-end of the altercation where Westbrook was already lashing out on the fan.

Things get heated between Russell Westbrook and Utah Jazz fans again. “I’ll f*ck you up. You and your wife,” he says. Not sure what these fans said to him, but he also had issues with Jazz fans during the postseason. pic.twitter.com/LquwRmLVNy

According to Patrick Patterson, the fan hurled some racist remarks to Russell Westbrook in the beginning. This triggered the former league MVP to retaliate. In a post-game interview, Westbrook later confirmed that the fan really did utter racist remarks to him. His wife, too, joined in the tirade.
Interestingly though, the said fan involved denies the allegations made by Westbrook and Patterson. The fan said that there was indeed some trash talking, but it never went to the point that the insults are racist.
This is not the first time that Westbrook has got into the face of a fan. Several clips can be found online of the Thunder star getting into a verbal tussle with the audience. Depending on where it ends up, this might be his worst altercation just yet.
