The Utah Jazz were in cruise control on Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. Then, they weren't.
The Jazz absolutely collapsed after leading by 28 in the first half and eventually saw their season end after a shocking Game 6 loss to the Clippers. In the process, they were on the wrong side of history, per ESPN Stats & Info:
The Clippers trailed by 25.
Tonight was the largest comeback in a series-clinching win over the last 25 seasons. Nobody had even come back from 20+ down to win a series in that span.

Talk about a one-sided record. It was surprising to see the Jazz blow such a big lead especially considering they were the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. But, the Clippers fully exposed Utah's weaknesses, especially when it came to Rudy Gobert. Their small-ball lineup forced him to try and defend the perimeter which resulted in LA absolutely torching the Jazz from downtown. In fairness though, both Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley were nursing injuries as well.

In case you forgot, Quin Snyder's team also blew a 3-1 series lead last year in the bubble against the Nuggets. Losing four in a row vs. Los Angeles is possibly the worst way to exit the playoffs, but it will surely be a learning experience for the Jazz.
While they will be going over this loss in their minds for months, hopefully, it will motivate Utah to come back with a vengeance in 2021/22.
