The Utah Jazz have controlled their matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers for the majority of Friday night. And when the Jazz were starting to pull away late in the second quarter, Donovan Mitchell made it clear they're not fooling around.

The sophomore forward drove to the basket where Lakers center JaVale McGee was waiting to contest his shot. Mitchell, who's been known as one of the most athletic youngsters in the league, took the challenge to McGee — one of the best rim protectors in the league.

Donovan Mitchell wasn't afraid. He knew he wanted to dunk the ball despite the imposing presence of JaVale McGee. So he did, and the Lakers big man is now part of Mitchell's poster collection.

Mitchell continues to be the driving force for the Jazz, who are in a tight race with the Lakers for the eighth spot in the extremely competitive Western Conference.

McGee, to his credit, hasn't been afraid to contest shots all season, which is one of the main reasons why he's one of the leading shot blockers in the league. The downside is, of course, there'll be instances when he'll be dunked on, and that's what happened on this occasion.

He's lucky he's forever banned in Shaqtin' A Fool.
