Even with the win already in the bag, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert simply won't allow Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers to get an easy basket.

The Stifle Tower made his presence felt in the dying seconds of the Jazz's hosting of the Blazers at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Wednesday, completely engulfing Lillard's lay-up attempt with five ticks remaining in regulation.

Lillard attacked the rim and tried to trim the deficit to two, but the 7'0 Frenchman made sure to preserve the victory, as his team got back on the winning track with a hard-fought 121-115 victory. The last-second rejection was his only block of the game, but he definitely made sure it mattered.

Gobert, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year winner, finished with a strong double-double of 16 ponts and 15 rebounds in 36 minutes.  He was also immaculate from the field, making all seven of his field goals.
