The New York Jets started off the 2019 season 0-4 before upsetting the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

One of the biggest stories of that week was the return of quarterback Sam Darnold. Now at 1-4, New York needs to pull off another miracle upset. This time, they are facing off with the 6-0 New England Patriots on Monday Night Football in Week 7.

It looks like New York will have some serious reinforcements while trying to take down the 6-0 Patriots in Week 7.

That reinforcement comes in the form of star linebacker C.J. Mosley.

Mosley appeared in the first game of the year. In that game (against the Buffalo Bills) he had six tackles, two pass deflections, one fumble recovery, and an interception that he took back for a touchdown.

That was the only game he's played in this season though. As you could have guessed, New York has absolutely missed him in the weeks since.

Now it looks like the wait is over. Mosley telling reporters that he will play Monday night definitely gives the Jets a lot more hope.

While they are still facing a major uphill battle against New England, this is now their second massive return in two weeks. Things could be starting to come together for them.

Wouldn't it be poetic for them to win this game anyways? Darnold's return was marked with an upset over Dallas and their first win of the season. Could Mosley's return in the following week be marked with an even bigger upset over New England and their first winning streak of the season?
