The New York Giants will be playing what is considered to be a pointless game at the MetLife Stadium as they face their neighbors in the Giants. However, they have a shot at adding a third win to their season as Le'Veon Bell said that he'll be playing in tomorrow's game.

Adam Schefter reposted the announcement that the running back made on his Instagram profile. It was enough to get the hapless Jets fans excited about the possibility of maybe getting one over their rivals.

Bell has been underperforming so far this season. He's only completed 415 rushing yards and one touchdown on 125 rushing attempts. His reception numbers also took a hit as he's only had 242 catching yards and one touchdown in his eight appearances so far.

However, but the form cannot be blamed entirely on his one-year absence from the game. Adam Gase has not gotten the team sorted out as the team continues to struggle on the field. He may have lost the locker room, but he's nowhere close to getting fired just yet.

The Giants are still on the lookout for Bell because he's still one of the best running backs in the game. Saquon Barkley deeply respects his running game and will be careful against him.

“Le’Veon, that’s my guy. He’s a heck of a player. Just the way he sees the field, the way he sees the game, the way he can catch the ball out of the backfield, block, set up his blocks, he epitomizes what a running back, how you’re supposed to set up blocks,” Barkley said, per Sports Illustrated.

“Some people may call his running style hesitant, but no. It’s called patience, it’s called setting up the blocks and putting himself in a position to be more successful. I’ve been a big fan of him since I was in college and it’s going to be fun to be able to watch him live, and I wish nothing but the best for him.”

New York is in for a treat as they will witness a fascinating duel between two of the league's top running backs.
