New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson was just picked up with the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Thursday. However, his mom was the one who stole the show at Wilson's draft party.

Needless to say, Lisa Wilson is quite attractive. Well, the Jets' soon-to-be rookie obviously made various appearances on radio shows and such over the last few days, with the latest coming in an interview with WFAN Radio Host Craig Carton. Take a look at what he said to the QB, per TMZ:
“Your mom has become the lead story, and I say that respectfully because people are like, ‘the star of the first round of the draft is Mrs. Wilson because she’s a very attractive woman.’”
He went on … “And, I’m just wondering how awkward that is for you, that you just got picked second overall in the NFL draft, and the focus is, wow, his mom is really hot.”
Undoubtedly, that would be a very awkward question to answer, but Wilson responded in the most professional way possible:
“Yeah, it’s not my favorite for sure. I like to keep her out of the spotlight. She’s an awesome lady and I love having her support.”
Carton eventually received quite a bit of hate for his comments from Jets fans and just people on social media alike, but he backed up his questions with this:

Wilson's mom was apparently trending on Twitter after his selection and I think you know why. But, nonetheless, the former Brigham Young standout will be looking ahead to training camp with the Jets, while his mom will most likely receive more attention from here on at Wilson's games in the NFL.
