The New York Jets are looking to keep their momentum going with a favorable matchup against the Washington Redskins in Week 11. Fortunately, quarterback Sam Darnold has managed to get them off to a solid start.

The Jets managed to strike first after Darnold was able to maneuver out of the pocket to find tight end Daniel Brown for a 20-yard touchdown pass, via NFL Twitter:

It is no secret that Sam Darnold has struggled to find his footing in this lackluster Jets offense throughout the 2019 NFL season. Despite his modest numbers in recent weeks, he appears to finally be getting a rhythm going under center.

Meanwhile, Brown is happy to finally get in the stat sheet following a rough couple of years. His first catch of the 2019 campaign could not have come in a more ideal fashion to give New York a 6-0 lead. He is hoping that his catch will potentially help him earn some more looks from Darnold.
